It is hard to know where to start with the hornet’s nest that was stirred up by the removal of Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee on February 2. The Republicans voted 218 to the Democrats 211 to have her booted off the Committee. Reasons given: Omar made several statements in the past that were objected to by Republicans, according to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy:

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez played the race card and accused the Republicans of “targeting women of color,” in an alternately impassioned rebuke or childish temper tantrum, depending on your American political cult affiliation. AOC blasted the decision, claiming it was not about “condemnation of anti-semitic remarks, when you have a member of the Republican caucus who talked about Jewish space lasers,” referring to Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, whose 2018 Facebook post is mangled beyond recognition by AOC’s accusation.

It is business as usual, in the Divided States of America, where the two sides face off on Twitter and go at it: Neither side shows any mercy, neither side gives an inch. The issue becomes a multitude of issues, then the mudslinging spirals out of control, until both sides are either bored or exhausted, or another crisis explodes on Twitter, via the compliant mainstream media.
For her part, Ilhan Omar, doubled down and posted on Twitter: “My critique of our foreign policy, Israeli’s policy towards Palestinians or that of any foreign nation will not change. As a person who suffered the horrors of war and persecution, my advocacy will always be for those that suffer because of the actions of governments.” Omar has been hyper-critical of US foreign policy, comparing the US government to Hamas and the Taliban, comments that did not endear her to either the militant wing of the Republican party, or even Democrat establishment drones like Nancy Pelosi who slammed her remarks, demanding she recant.
In a video clip, Omar said, “We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban,” and further captioned the post: “We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity.”
The US establishment does not permit its middle managers to trash the regime, forcing Omar to recant. After her public confession of political heresy, the Inquisition of 12 Jewish Democrats, praised her for her “clarification.”
Meanwhile in Palestine, Human Rights Watch claim that Israeli authorities’ engage in systematic oppression and inhumane acts against Palestinians as on ongoing policy of domination by Jewish Israelis, that amount to crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution.
Former President and professional troll, Donald Trump on July 14, 2019 tweeted that The Squad—a group that originally consists of Omar and three other young congresswomen of color, who with the exception of Omar, were born in the U.S.—should go back to the places from which they came:
Ilhan Omar was born in Somalia, in the midst of civil war. Her father was a colonel in the Somalia military. The family fled Somalia, and were granted asylum in the United States, after living for four years in a refugee camp on the Kenyan border. Omar was bullied at school in the US as a teenager, due to her wearing of a hijab and Somalian accent. According to New York Times bio, 12-year old Omar “fended off bullies who stuck gum on her scarf, knocked her down the stairs, and jumped her when she changed clothes for gym class.”
Omar gave a speech in her defense, where she claimed, “This debate today — it’s about who gets to be an American. What opinions do we have to be counted as Americans? This is what this debate is about!” she said.

Republicans claim Omar is just plain un-American, and that is the real reason she cannot be part of any foreign policy committee. Other representatives, such as Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell were kicked off the House Intelligence Committee for similar reasons of national trust. Swalwell was accused of literally sleeping with the enemy in 2014, after a suspected Chinese agent, Christine Fang (Fang Fang) became actively involved in his political campaigning.
Adam Schiff was the chief propagandist behind the Russiagate conspiracy and he used his position as chairman of the Intelligence Committee to stoke fears that Trump was in fact a Russian agent working with the Kremlin. In a TikTok video, Schiff claims it is the MAGA faction of the Republican caucus who are out to get him.

Ilhan Omar is one of the four founding members of the Squad, which has expanded its membership to nine — all were elected under the age of 50, and all are either children of immigrants or African-American heritage. Both Omar and Rashida Tlaib (who is Palestinian descent) are banned from Israel for their comments on the “apartheid state of Israel.”
It would be an understatement to say the Squad does not fit into middle class rural American culture, and harder still to imagine them swilling beers at a Nashville honky tonk with the good ‘ol boys. Their far-left progressive politics grate on the nerves of many on the far-right Republican wing who are anti-immigration, and loathe the Bernie Sanders crowd with a passion. It is remarkable that someone with Omar’s background would even aspire to engaging in the political circus of American politics, where center ring is full of clowns, puppets, jugglers, magicians and beasts.
