The World Needs An Intervention

It is getting more and more apparent, as world events unfold, that the majority of people in the world are not capable of making rational decisions anymore. This is a hard thing to say, but it is the inescapable conclusion. I wish it were not true.
It is not because people are stupid. It isn’t an IQ thing. Rather, it is the increasingly rare ability to see what is right in front of you. Most people can’t see the forest for the trees, and worse, they can’t even see the trees anymore.
If a tree doesn’t identify as a tree, is it still a tree?
We’re talking about One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest now. The world is literally losing touch with reality and descending into collective madness.
There is a thin line between a liar and a madman. When someone lies all the time it becomes habitual, and they eventually begin to believe their own lies. Then they become clinically insane, because they cannot tell the difference between what is truth and what is deception anymore.
Have you ever heard a politician confess that he has been lying all along? The reason you don’t is because they don’t believe they are lying. They think they are just managing whatever situation using the best choice of words necessary. Evil people don’t think they are evil. They all think they are great benefactors of mankind.
The world needs an intervention.
Like a family member that has gone astray, the rest of the family needs to step in and make the world aware that his or her behaviour is leading to disaster. The world is like a heroin addict, except the world is addicted to all kinds of things: money, power, sex, human trafficking, drugs, prostitution, porn, gambling and lies.
And it all leads to WAR. The world is addicted to war, the lust for death, blood, decapitated bodies and horror show videos on the internet. There are no sides to choose. There is only our side, the human race.
There is little doubt in my mind, that the maneuvering and scheming of the billionaire club is an accident waiting to happen. All their sociopathic plans will come to nothing, and all they will achieve is civil unrest, human misery, death and war. Everything of any value that they do accidentally accomplish will be taken from them and handed over to more loyal stewards.
The Freedom Movement is the divine intervention that many are looking for. We are literally the Hand of God in the world attempting to steer the global ship away from the rocks and restore our whole planet to sanity. The Salt of the Earth is a meaningful metaphor that has relevance for this time in history, because salt was used as a preservative to keep food from spoiling.
We are sent into the world to keep it from decaying, preserving its natural state, and preventing it from becoming corrupted or ruined. Although there are a majority of conservatives in the alternative community, you might be tempted to call us preservatives, but it might be more accurate to label us interventionists.
We need to stand in the gap and rebuild the badly burned bridge that lies between spirituality and the political arena. Activism is the bridge between politics and religion—the voice of reason and responsibility. It was activists in the past who fought for and won our civil rights. We cannot afford to go backwards by giving up our freedoms that were so dearly fought for by our parents and grandparents.
