Why I Unfriended the Flat Earthers

With anything posted on social media, there comes the inevitable naysayers and contrarians who will adopt the opposing view, no matter what. Such is human nature. We resist being told what to think, especially true in the Freedom community.
Many people were offended or insulted that I would unfriend a group of people, just because they had a different view of the shape of our lovely blue planet. To be honest, this is a fair criticism. Who am I, to claim special knowledge of the make up of the physical universe? After all, the media and government have lied about so much over the last few decades, what makes us think they haven’t lied about the shape of the Earth?
Just for some background, I’ve posted all kinds of stuff on Facebook, some of it controversial, that often resulted in lengthy debates on my Facebook feed. Never did I imagine, that posting that the Earth is a sphere would cause such intense arguments. Mind blowing. Nothing else I have posted has created such flak from the Freedom community.
Flat Earthers have become militant. They are in your face and aggressive. Their insane claims about the earth, gravity, science and physics forces us to dig up simple answers to refute their pathological nonsense. The more you dig into their claims, the more apparent it becomes that the Flat Earth cult is another CIA-sponsored psychological operation created by the usual suspects. A high percentage of Flat Earthers use the Bible as their reference book to prove their claims, usually posting YouTube videos, without any scientific support, except Bible verses:
Revelation 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree.
Psalm 104:5 He established the earth upon its foundations, So that it will not totter forever and ever.
Job 26:7 He stretches out the north over empty space And hangs the earth on nothing.
Job 26:10 He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the watersAt the boundary of light and darkness.
People’s religious beliefs get into their core value system and any assault on someone’s core value system is taken as a personal attack — and you are the attacker, and thus, their personal enemy. It is human nature to want a secure belief system.
It is also difficult to tell if you are dealing with a human being on Facebook, or an AI bot or sock puppet. Generally, AI bots do not respond to direct questioning because they are not sophisticated enough to formulate answers to complex questions. The Flat Earth bots just repeat scripted answers and post endless pseudoscientific memes. Facebook has built BlenderBot 2.0 that can have a simple conversation:
When talking to Flat Earthers, are you arguing with bots and sock puppets on Facebook? It is easy for agents to hire trolls who create multiple accounts and spam your posts with comments to make it appear that there is great opposition to whatever you are advocating. This technique is also used in town hall meetings to create the illusion of crowd consensus. Several people are planted throughout the crowd, and when the speakers hits the trigger sentence, one of the planted agents stands up and speaks out. The others join in, and this creates the illusion that there is consensus within the entire crowd. People, being herd animals, are very hesitant to speak out in public against the majority.
According to a study published by Cornell University, analyzing 3656 verified sockpuppets in the comment section of various discussion communities, “some users may create multiple identities, or sockpuppets, and engage in undesired behavior by deceiving others or manipulating discussions.”
The University of Oxford estimated 70 countries were affected by state-sponsored social media manipulation in 2019, a 150% increase from just 2 years prior.
A new report by SparkToro and Followerwonk claims that 19.42% of active Twitter accounts are fake or spam, while Facebook estimates that 5% of all accounts on its platform are fake. Using SparkToro’s Fake Followers tool to analyze Elon Musk’s followers, it turns out that 70.2% of Musk’s 128M Twitter followers are fake.
What is really at stake is the truth. We are supposed to be truthers, who spend enormous amounts of time, effort and energy researching the inner workings of society on all levels to unearth (no pun intended) the nefarious plans of the globalists who are pushing with all their might to bring the world into a technocratic nightmare. One of our main goals is to wake the normies up. How do we expect to have any credibility with the normies, or anyone for that matter, if we don’t even know the shape of the planet, the home we live on?
From a March 2019 Global News article, at the outset of the pandemic: “From the anti-vaccine movement to the belief that the earth is flat, there seems to be a growing distrust of science and institutions, and experts say it’s difficult to come up with an antidote to the erosion.” By attaching Flat Earth belief with anti-vaccination, climate change denial and distrust of government, the media creates a psychological profile of political dissidents, branding them as mentally unstable. This is not a new tactic: Stalin did the same thing, by labelling his enemies “sluggish schizophrenics” and incarcerating many in mental institutions.
The psychiatric incarceration in USSR of political dissenters instigated because of their attempts to emigrate, to distribute or possess prohibited documents or books, especially western books, to participate in protests and demonstrations, and attend churches that were monitored by the KGB.
According to a report by the Journal of American Psychiatry and Law, entitled Political Abuse of Psychiatry in the Soviet Union and in China: “Most disturbing, the delegation assembled compelling evidence that medication was used widely for punitive purposes. High doses of antipsychotic drugs were routinely administered by injection in a 10- to 15-day regimen to punish violators of hospital rules and to treat “delusions of reformism” and “anti-Soviet thoughts.” In addition, medical records and interviews of patients also showed that Soviet psychiatrists used a highly aversive drug called sulfazine for the ostensible purpose of enhancing treatment responses to neuroleptic medication. In the view of the U.S. psychiatrists, however, the severe pain, immobility, fever, and muscle necrosis produced by this medication, as well as the documented pattern of its use in 10 of the interviewed patients, strongly suggested that it had been used for punitive purposes.”
Fuelled by online CIA agents like Elon Musk, that only adds to the debate, division and constant psychological profiling of political dissidents. Elon Musk’s online persona, as I’ve discussed in a previous post, is more psychological operations.
What is the point of all this manipulation? There isn’t a point. Evil people do evil because they enjoy it. It is hard to understand but some people enjoy torturing others. Sadistic people enjoy inflicting pain on others. Albert Fish, a.k.a. “The Brooklyn Vampire,” claimed to have raped and eaten about 100 children. He was executed in the electric chair in 1936, but not before he confessed, “I always had a desire to inflict pain upon others and have others inflict pain upon me. I always seemed to enjoy everything that hurt. The desire to inflict pain, that is all that is uppermost.”
The fascination with the abomination is also part of human nature — the same thing that makes everyone slow down to look at the car accident, but a steady diet of conspiracy theory is actually psychologically harmful and should be balanced with music, art, nature, companionship and spiritual connection. To return to the sheer lunacy of the Flat Earth psyops, this map that the Flat Earthers all use is called an Azimuthal Equidistant Projection Map and is used for communication, navigation and to show missile range for military applications. The United Nations uses one on their flag, in order to show all the continents in a pleasing way. Notice the continents are all disproportionate in size, because they have been squeezed to fit into this 2-dimensional representation of the globe. Unfortunately, a significant percentage of the truth movement, are themselves, lost down rabbit holes. Some are lost down there and never come back out again. When people wake up and become aware of the serious evil happening on our planet, it is very disruptive to their core value system and they immediately begin a search for a new worldview. Nature abhors a vacuum and a human being feels incomplete and unsettled without the security of a world view that works for them. The rabbit hole is a dangerous place to live, because only looking at the negative is a lopsided picture of life.
Another obvious psyops is the crop circles that began to appear suddenly in the British countryside in the late 1980’s. Not sure why the Freemasons would journey here from another planet to make doodles in South Hampshire wheat fields, but such is life on our confused world. The sad truth is that decent people are easy to manipulate. Evil people are much harder to con because they are more worldly and streetwise.
Conspiracy theory is basically a negative value system that sees the world in the darkest tones of a Luciferian oligarchy with a totalitarian agenda. However, the universe is not a black hole of evil, it is actually a marvellous and breathtaking creation. When we look at the stars in the sky, they are not set against a background of black nothingness. We only observe it this way because most of us live in cities where the stars are obscured by the city lights. If we had a camera with a wide enough lens, and left the shutter open to allow all the light of the universe to be let in, the photograph would be almost entirely white with a few patches of black.
What may look like the end of the world is in reality, the end of a dying age. As you sow, so shall you reap. The harvest of centuries of the patient plans of power hungry, arrogant madmen is coming to fruition. They will get everything they deserve, nothing more, nothing less. It may seem like they have won the world, but the truth is they have lost their souls. Life is very short, a poor brief candle, a flickering flame, and then it is gone. Eternity is forever, and those who plan for eternal life will also receive their reward.
