Apocalypse is Cancelled
Listen to an audio reading of this article:
You heard it right. The apocalypse is cancelled. Sorry. You won’t hear about it in the mainstream media though. As a matter of fact, you won’t hear it in the alternative media either. Mainly because the whole planet is rooting for the apocalypse. Everybody wants an apocalypse!
So much fun.
If you are on social media, you might think we are close to the apocalypse, the End Times, the Kali Yuga and maybe even a nuclear holocaust. Whee!
War Mongering and Fear Porning
Human beings main weaknesses are fear and pride. Fear is collective and individual. People literally pay for the collective experience of fear when they shell out money to watch a horror movie, because fear is entertaining, and it is also addictive. Fear produces a physical adrenal reaction in your body that can become a compulsive habit. The daily diet of fear porn in the news is adequate proof of the reality of this.
Almost all the religions of the world, especially Christianity, Judaism and Islam sincerely believe the world is going to end. Not only do they believe it, they also WANT it desperately to happen in order to validate their belief system, and provide justification for their war mongering and fear porning.
Otherwise, they will be disappointed.
World leaders manipulate people’s religious fears to achieve various goals. Religious people are often easily manipulated because they think in SYMBOLS, and it is easy to trigger people using symbols. Carl Jung theorized extensively about archetypes, defined as a collectively-inherited unconscious idea, a pattern of thought, image, etc., that is universally present, in individual psyches.
Though this brief article is not sufficient to explore this topic, the connection between the unconscious archetypes, and the conscious symbols of religions should not be missed.
Netanyahu invoked the ghost of Amalek to justify further ground operations into Gaza, stating, “You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible.”
“Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.”
~ 1 Samuel 15:3
The Ayatollah Khamenei, Supreme leader of Iran, invoked the name of Allah to praise the Palestinians for taking up arms against Israel, saying that, “If a child is martyred he praises God.”
Shaheed in Islam, is someone who dies a martyr. It is considered one of the greatest honours, and the rewards granted to the martyr are superior to those for performing almost any other righteous act.
“Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah. And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (Martyrs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve.”
~ Quran 3:169–170
Religious symbols in end times theology such as, The Beast, The AntiChrist, Babylon, Rapture and The Mark of the Beast are archetypes. They represent theological concepts with multiple layers of meanings.
The symbolism presented in the media, especially the American music industry, is indicative of a cult, or at the very least, some kind of cult-like behaviour. One website that has been covering symbolism is vigilantcitizen.com. There is overwhelming evidence in the media of an ideology (or theology) being relentlessly promoted, mostly to young people.
The pro-Israel sympathies within Western Christianity are being manipulated as we speak, in order to gain support for Israel’s expansion into Gaza. It is being framed as part of the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.
Many religious people are afraid of Satan, Lucifer, the Devil and evil in general, despite passages such as:
Pure love casts out fear.
Do not fear the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid. Do not fear him, declares the LORD, for I am with you, to save you and to deliver you from his hand.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Many people lack faith in the eventual triumph of good over evil. They actually have more faith in evil winning. Some Christians on social media are proclaiming this message:
Other believers are afraid of God because they think God is a vengeful tyrant. I personally don’t share this distorted view of the Creator. The idea of God as a judge or lawgiver comes from ancient fear-based beliefs. Ancient cultures sacrificed animals and even humans to the gods to appease them, or give them victory in war, or provide a plentiful harvest. Modern society no longer embraces these ideas, and there is a shift towards love-based spirituality that is taking place all over the world.
If we want peace in the world, ideological walls need to come crashing down.
If you read my last article, I covered a short summary of the background history, and also the theology that is helping to drive the current conflict in the Middle East.
Spiritual people really need to become more conscious and aware on a daily basis that we are connected to a great Source—if we choose to be connected. Connection means becoming part of the greater spiritual plan. There is a globalist agenda and there is also a spiritual agenda. Even though the globalist agenda will lead the world down a dead-end path, people are free to choose either one.
Instead of sliding into the pitfalls of the media-generated narrative, we can become spokespersons of the universal narrative. Though it is true the alternative community is more politically aware of what is happening on the world stage, the real revolution that needs to take place is the spiritual revolution.
Having said that, many things that happen in life don’t really affect your spiritual walk. The journey you are on is a series of consecutive tests that are designed for your edification and spiritual growth. Everything healthy grows.
Despite the ongoing horrors of war we are witnessing in the Ukraine and in Gaza, these things don’t affect our spiritual growth. The collapse of nations, the fall of empires, the destruction of cities, and even the end of the world, does not change your eternal destination. It is sealed.
As we become more spiritually-minded, fear has less effect on us and we think less about war. That’s the real road to peace.
