The world is on a collision course. The truth is the collision has been coming for decades, even centuries. If you read my previous post about End Times prophecies, you may already be aware that the combined delusions of grandeur of three world religions is the fuel added to the fire in Gaza.
The problem with fundamentalism is simple: It is based on the idea that your private religion is the sole owner of truth. Nobody else knows. This produces a pathological mindset that leads to spiritual pride, militancy, and ultimately war.
Last week, 4 cruise missiles and 15 drones, fired from Yemen, were shot down by the USS Carney. The target was Israel. The Houthi rebels were immediately singled out as the perpetrators.
The Houthi rebels, officially known as Ansar Allah (Supporters of God), are an Islamic group who control northern Yemen. Their slogan is catchy: "God is great, death to the US, death to Israel, curse the Jews, and victory for Islam,” but as you might have guessed, it has not endeared them to Israel.
The Houthis are funded and armed by Iran. Where else would they get cruise missiles? The missiles are suspected to be Burkan-3 which have a range of 1200 kms. These are modified rockets based on Russian SCUD missile and Iranian QUIM missile platforms. The missile launch was a test, in my humble opinion, to see how the Americans would respond under fire.
Hezbollah staged its own military exercises in May of this year, along the Israeli border. Hezbollah has anywhere from 25,000 to 100,000 active duty troops with an annual budget of $700 million. Estimates of Hezbollah's total rocket count range from 40,000 to 150,000, which is considerably more than most countries. These rockets are all aimed at Israel.
Hezbollah is also funded, trained and supplied with weapons by the Iranian Quds, the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) and Syria.
Douglas Macgregor, retired US military colonel, in an interview with Judge Andrew Napolitano warned the American public, “We are on the threshold of total war.”
Senator Lindsay Graham, a career Republican politician, in an interview last week on NBC, declared, “Iran, if you escalate this war, we are coming for you … I am poised to use military force to destroy the source of funding for Hamas and Hezbollah.”
In a meeting of academics, the Supreme Leader of Iran, the Ayatollah Khamenei lashed out at the Israelis for their indiscriminate bombing of Gaza and stated, “If these crimes continue, Muslims and the resistance forces will lose their patience and no one will be able to stop them. They should know this and they should not expect others to stop certain groups from doing certain things.”
The Iranian Armed Forces has 575,000 active and 350,000 Reserve Personnel, making it the largest army in the Middle East.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Amirabdolahaian, in his speech at the UN General Assembly, warned the United States that “you won’t be spared from the fire of the war in the region” if the Gaza war does not stop. “I say it frankly to American statesmen: We don't welcome the expansion of war in the region, but if the genocide in Gaza continues, they won't be spared from this fire,” he said in English.
In Turkey, Devlet Bahçeli, coalition partner of President Erdoğan, gave an ultimatum to Israel, that if a ceasefire is not achieved within 24 hours, Turkey should uphold its historical and moral responsibilities, and do whatever is necessary by intervening: “protecting Gaza is our legacy from our ancestors.”
Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir participates in arming all Israeli citizens. “There is no civilian in Israel, everyone is armed,” he claimed while helping to hand out automatic weapons to average citizens without restrictions or permits needed.
The Chief of General Staff for the Israeli Defense Force, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, met with Commanders of Golani Brigade in Southern Lebanon, near the Border with the Gaza Strip, where he stated,
“We will soon enter the Gaza Strip. We will embark on an operational and professional mission to target any Hamas operatives and infrastructure, all while keeping in our hearts the memories of the events from two weeks ago…Gaza will present a complex and densely populated environment, and the enemy is actively preparing. Rest assured, we are equally prepared.”
U.S. is ramping up firepower in the Middle East to deter Iran from getting involved in the Gaza conflict—with an Army of 13 warships, more than 100 fighter aircraft, cruise missiles, reconnaissance aircraft and 2,000 Special Forces in the area to support Israel.
Meanwhile, in Palestine, there is a massive IDF military buildup near Gaza border. IDF Chief-of-Staff (Lt.-Gen.) Herzi Halevi on Tuesday spoke from the Southern border, saying, “I want to be clear, we are ready to invade.”
2,000 US Marines and 2,000 Special Forces have just landed in Israel. It is rumoured that UK, Germany and Australia are sending their military groups, warships, special forces, military aircraft, and more to the region.
France is sending the Tonnerre helicopter carrier capable of carrying dozens of helicopters and hundreds of marines to the area of Israel.
It is only a matter of time before Israeli tanks roll into Gaza. Will Israel and the IDF risk World War Three to further their geopolitical goals in Palestine? Israel seems fully committed at this point.
The countdown has begun.
