We Never Went to the Moon
Review of Bill Kaysing's book, the origin of the Fake Moon Landing conspiracy theory
Listen to an audio reading of this article:
One thing to keep in mind when studying history, whether it is recent or ancient, is to always go to the source. Try to find the original historian or writer(s). Don’t base your investigation on second hand information by other authors. Most historians quote other historians for proof, but good research means finding the original documents.
Keeping this in mind, I searched for the source of the fake moon landing conspiracy.
It all started in 1976, with the release of Bill Kaysing’s book, We Never Went to the Moon. Calling it a book is actually an exaggeration—at 86 pages, it is more accurately a pamphlet or brochure.
From the opening line of Kaysing’s foreward, it is claimed, “ … 30 percent of the adult population of the United States does not believe this country has landed astronauts on the moon.”
This is an outrageous assertion. Even the entire Freedom Movement does not have this kind of support and we are arguably far greater in size than the movement created by the assassination of JFK or by 9/11.
A recent survey in 2022 asked respondents if they believed that the moon landings
never happened: about 5% strongly believe, and 6% somewhat believe:
Two other polls produced similar results:
The Apollo project from 1968 - 1972 cost $25.4 billion or $178 billion in today’s market. The goal according to President John F. Kennedy was “landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth” in a speech to Congress on May 25, 1961.
The Apollo 11 mission succeeded when astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed their Apollo Lunar Module (LM) on July 20, 1969, and walked on the lunar surface, while Michael Collins remained in lunar orbit in the command and service module (CSM), and all three landed safely on Earth in the Pacific Ocean on July 24. Five subsequent Apollo missions also landed astronauts on the Moon, the last, Apollo 17, in December 1972. In these six spaceflights, twelve people walked on the Moon.
Some in the alt community claim there was no Apollo missions at all, we never went to the moon and NASA filmed it all in Arizona with the help of director Stanley Kubrick.
Now I can hear the fake moon landing crowd groaning in protest with questions like, “What about the lunar rover?! How did they get it inside the lunar module?!”
Also here is the manual for the lunar rover … you could build your own.
Back to Bill:
Kaysing was a technical writer from 1956 - 1963, at Rocketdyne, the company that built the Saturn rocket engine. He admits that:
“I decided I did not believe that Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin or anyone else was going to the moon. And consequently, I could not generate the least enthusiasm for watching a phoney performance … Call it a hunch, an intuition; information from some little understood and mysterious channel of communication . . . a metaphysical message, while tenuous and ephemeral at its source, it was strong and vivid in its form. In short, a true conviction …”
From this point, Kaysing launches into a long series of open-ended questions. For a brief sampling:
This is very poor methodology. A true investigative journalist starts from the premise that he or she knows nothing about a particular issue. We all have our biases, but the truth seeker makes a conscious attempt to put aside personal biases to find out the veracity of whatever the issue. The scientific method is based on first observing and collecting information, and then following the data. A good detective, likewise, follows the evidence.
Kaysing meanders through a few disconnected episodes of history, then finds his groove with the quintessential fake moon landing question:
Anyone with a background in photography can answer this question. As I have done some photography of musicians in night clubs, I know how difficult it is to get good photos, for the simple reason that photo (light) graphy is based on using the available light.
If NASA wanted to include the stars in the sky, the astronauts needed to make sure they stood extra still to avoid blurring the shot while the slow shutter and wide aperture let in enough light. If they kept the aperture small and the shutter speed fast, they’d capture a sharp, decently bright picture of the foreground, but the sky would be dark because it wouldn’t send enough light into the lens. Obviously, NASA wanted photographs of the astronauts in the foreground nice and clear.
The idea that after 50 years of supposedly fake space photography, NASA would never bother to put stars in the photos is problematic. Just one example from the 100,000 photos taken from the Apollo missions.
You can find about 8000 photos from the Apollo missions online. Go through them and see for yourself. Don’t listen to me.
As I have mentioned in previous posts, the Fake Moon Landing Hoax has done wonders for NASA, DARPA and the CIA to keep prying eyes from looking into what they are really doing in space. A high percentage of the alternative community has no idea about any of the deep state’s sneaky plans in space, because of the Fake Moon Landing hoax and the parallel Flat Earth psyops:
The Flat Earth theology neatly dovetails with the Fake Moon Landing theory because of the implied rhetoric from the Flat Earthers that if there is no space, then of course there were no moon landings. Flat Earthers sincerely believe rockets hit the dome and explode:
Just so I don’t get more angry emails, it should be noted that most people in the alternative community reject the FE theology. The fake moon landing crowd complain that they don’t like being lumped in with the Flat Earthers. This is my previous post where I ruffled some freedom feathers:
Returning to Bill Kaysing’s book, which incidentally should be called The Fake Moon Landing Manifesto. Kaysing asks a good question about the moon landing. Why is there no dust from the blast of the lunar module when it landed? Many, if not all of the questions raised by Kaysing deserve answers. Yet despite 50 years of answers, some in the alt community still reject the answers. Many commentators have summarized this better than I could:
It doesn’t mean that NASA or the government has not been lying about the space program. It just means that maybe some in the alt community haven’t really thought through why NASA might be lying. The real reason that NASA and the CIA create disinfo is to hide what they are really doing in space.
DARPA has a multitude of space projects, most of them have military applications.
One of the creepiest DARPA projects is the B-SURE project to build a biolab in space to manufacture microbes adapted to space. This violates the Outer Space Treaty because DARPA wants to build a military base on the moon. Yes, there is an international agreement about the use of space, signed by 113 countries that was originally created because of the nuclear arms race in the 1950’s.
You can dive deeper into the DARPA abyss in my previous post:
To sum up, Bill Kaysing’s book is a poorly crafted piece of investigative reporting. He provides very little evidence to support his claims. His final epilogue mentions a hooker from Reno who claimed “two NASA engineers told her the moon trips were a hoax,” but when he went to her door to interview her, she denied everything. Not exactly Watergate caliber journalism.
Some people are struggling with the incredible advances in science and technology. Others just find it easier to deny everything. The globalists are well educated at top level Ivy League universities, and they have the money to hire the top scientists and professionals from all over the world.
The scientific revolution has unleashed a dragon, and the globalists believe they are the dragon masters. However, the truth is the dragon will not be mastered so easily and, sooner or later, it will turn on the dragon masters and devour them, in this author’s humble opinion.
Knowledge is power. The more you know, the more powerful and free you are, because the truth sets you free. The elites fear the motivated, enlightened and educated individual more than anything else. Make it your goal to be their worst nightmare.
